CONCLUSION

One final thought takes us into the distant future of the New Testament (more than 1600 years later):

Joseph reconciled himself with his brothers by forgiving them the crime of selling him off as a young boy to become a slave in Egypt.

Joseph’s kind act of reconciliation foreshadows what would take place much later in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins on the cross and was resurrected from the dead for our justification.

The Apostle Paul summarized the effect of this great salvation of Christ by saying: “18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” (2 Corinthians 5:18-20)

Did you experience this reconciliation with God by believing in the death of Jesus, the Son of God, for your sins? If not, then believe in Him today! Then you are also invited with us to be an ambassador for Christ and share his message of divine reconciliation with people in your surroundings.

We have a wonderful message to give to the world, a message which was spiritually preempted in the events of the Torah of Joseph in this booklet: Joseph’s act of reconciling himself with his brothers is of the same spiritual power as God reconciling us with himself in Christ, our Lord and Savior.

For this spiritual consistency of the Bible we give glory and honor to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who is our heavenly Father by faith in His Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
