BOOK 5 - ANTI-CHRIST AND THE LAMB OF GOD (REVELATION 13:1 - 16:21)
PART 5.1 - SUPPLEMENT: BIBLE PROPHECIES ABOUT THE APPEARANCE OF ANTI-CHRIST
4. How Paul Describes Anti-Christ (2 Thessalonians 2:3-12)St Paul, the missionary of the gentiles, expected the close returning of Jesus Christ during his first missionary journey. Yet he also knew that the great falling away has first to come inescapably by the appearance of anti-Christ. Therefore he warns the churches in the second chapter of his second epistle to the Thessalonians: 2 THESSALONIANS 2:3-12 The risen Christ revealed to the jurist Paul through the Holy Spirit the legal aspect of the appearance of anti-Christ. The son of perdition would live as a frivolous perpetrator and rebel deliberately against God and his Son. He would exalt himself above God and all what is holy, sit in the third temple in Jerusalem which is to build and announce that he is God. Satan will incarnate himself in the last anti-Christ and display his full power and cunning by his own wicked son. He will bind men to himself by every kind of deception, particularly by fraudulent wondrous signs. He will win all those who do not love the truth and join their Savior Jesus Christ. PRAYER: Our Father in heaven, we magnify You because You allow antichrist to come and deceive those who do not open their minds and their hearts to the apparent truth in Christ. Keep us from believing the wonders of antichrist and the wonderful miracles of his false prophet; and lead us to the humility of Christ and to the services of His meek love. Amen. QUESTION:
5. The Victory of Jesus Christ in the End of TimeThese selected prophesies on the coming of anti-Christ had been known to the churches in Minor Asia as well as further details of other books of the Bible. Now the final revelation of Jesus Christ was given to their patriarch John on the isle of Patmos as a summary and deepening of all previous End-Time visions. Never is anti-Christ the purpose of the revelations in all these prophesies, but the returning of Jesus Christ in his glory and his victory over the representative of the Evil One. Muhammad adopted several Christian prophesies on this decisive incident of the End Time, but perverted them in an Islamic direction. He is supposed to have said that Christ would return from the third heaven to the earth (to Damascus) so as to kill there Dadjdjal (anti-Christ), to destroy all crosses on church buildings and cemeteries, to kill all pigs, to marry and to father and to convert the godless world to Islam. Afterwards he would die and be buried in Medina beside Muhammad. This would be the sign of the hour (Sura al-Zukhruf 43:61). Afterwards Allah himself would appear, raise Muhammad and Christ from death and enthrone onto two thrones so that they together judge the world. This fraudulent perversion is believed nowadays by a fifth of mankind!! Countless people have been taken in by the father of lies due to the false statements of an anti-Christian prophet! Yet the truth will prevail! Jesus will come in great glory and destroy anti-Christ and his army by the breath of his mouth. His church lives forever in spite of persecution and death. The eternal live endures forever and cannot be destroyed by Satan. Take heed that no man deceives you. |
