Part 1 - The great personality of the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal high priest (Hebrews 1:1 - 6:15)
1. The Son of God, with his glory and authority, is above all the angels (Hebrews 1:1-14)

2. Be careful, and do not neglect the great salvation (Hebrews 2:1-8)
3. Jesus humbles himself to the level of a Son of Man for the sake of his priestly ministry (Hebrews 2:8-18)

4. Contemplate the faithfulness of Jesus, the High Priest (Hebrews 3:1-2)
5. Christ is greater than Moses (Hebrews 3:3-6)
6. Do not harden your hearts lest you miss God's rest (Hebrews 3:7 - 4:2)

7. Christ and his rest are greater than Joshua and his stability (Hebrews 4:3-11)
8. The word of God uncovers and cuts like a two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12-13)

Part 2 - The great efficiency of the Priesthood of Christ: His unique sacrifice brought about the New Covenant and the perfection of the saints (Hebrews 7:1 - 10:39)
A - The priesthood of the mighty Christ produced the New Covenant (Hebrews 7:1 - 8:13)
1. The new proper priestly order of Christ appeared in the person of Melchizedek (Hebrews 7:1-3)
2. Abraham and all the Levites submitted to the priesthood of Melchizedek, and thereby they also submitted to Christ (Hebrews 7:4-10)
3. The priesthood of Jesus, the Lord, requires changing the old obsolete Law into the power of eternal life (Hebrews 7:11-19)
4. God confirmed the effective priesthood of Christ with an oath (Hebrews 7:20-28)

5. Christ is the mediator of the New Covenant and its guarantee (Hebrews 8:1-13)

B - Christ perfected us and he perfected the priestly orders through his unique sacrifice (Hebrews 9:1 - 10:18)
1. Sanctuaries and rituals could not perfect humans, so Christ perfected them in the heavenly sanctuary (Hebrews 9:1-12)
2. The blood of Christ cleanses our consciences so that we can serve God (Hebrews 9:13-14)
3. Changing the meaning of the blood of the covenant (Hebrews 9:15-22)
4. The priestly service of Christ is going on now before the face of God in heaven (Hebrews 9:23-28)

5. The inadequacy of the Day of Atonement in the Old Testament (Hebrews 10:1-4)
6. The eternal will of God is fulfilled in us through Christ's sacrifice (Hebrews 10:5-10)
7. The sacrifice and intercession of Christ have perfected us for good (Hebrews 10:11-18)
Part 3 - Christian conduct, in certainty of faith, holiness of love and a hope that is truly alive, is the result of the intercession of Christ and the power of His holy blood (Hebrews 10:19 - 13:25)
1. The call to be firm in faith, hope and love on the basis of the great priesthood of Christ (Hebrews 10:19-25)
2. Warnings about apostasy and about the wrath of God (Hebrews 10:26-31)
3. Be firm in the hope of faith as you were firm when you withstood persecution (Hebrews 10:32-39)

4. Be encouraged in faith as you ponder the impressive sequence of the fathers of faith (Hebrews 11:1-40)

b) Examples from the time before Abraham (Hebrews 11:2-7)
c) Examples from the time of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Hebrews 11:8-22)

5. Walk patiently in the race of love and hope (Hebrews 12:1-3)
6. Your sufferings are a grace for your sanctification (Hebrews 12:4-11)
7. Be completely sanctified, and care for the members of your church (Hebrews 12:12-17)
8. The great glory that comes in the fulfillment of the new covenant (Hebrews 12:18-24)
9. The kingdom of God comes to us after the heavens and the earth are shaken (Hebrews 12:25-29)

10. Be firm in love that is void of greed (Hebrews 13:1-6)
11. Be firm in the grace, which is revealed in Christ (Hebrews 13:7-16)
12. Obey those who are responsible in the church and pray for them (Hebrews 13:17-19)
13. Receive the blessing of God that is based on the blood of Christ and his intercession (Hebrews 13:20-24)
